SUMMARY:Play the Evacuation Game at the Library Commons
DESCRIPTION:Wildfire preparedness can feel overwhelming\, but it doesn’t need to.   By turning the process into a game\, learning about wildfire safety can be engaging\, approachable\, and community‑driven. \n\n\n\nUsing real maps of our valley and realistic scenarios\, players will navigate changing conditions and unexpected challenges.\n\n\n\nWe’ll be playing the Evacuation Game in the Library Commons community room\, Friday\, July 24th\, between 2:30 and 4 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early.\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP so we can be sure we have enough materials on hand. Sign up in person at the library\, call (707) 983-6736\, or email sobrerop@mendocinocounty.gov with your name and phone number or email address and we’ll put you on the list.  [This is game meant for adults. It is suggested that young people 14 and up play with their grownup(s).]
